Town Hall Meeting Will Hapen

Town Hall Meeting Will Happen - Soon!

Too Many Requests
The Town Hall Meeting scheduled for February 23, was cancelled  because of the tornado that ripped through communities in District 2 and the north end of the City.

My heart is broken for the personal lives impacted, neighborhoods disrupted and the many beautiful trees that were destroyed and damaged. It is my hope and prayer that every life and every spirit that was touched will be healed and the beauty of neighborhoods will come back like joy in the morning after darkness.

Come hell or high water we will have our town hall meeting to discuss the restoration of neighborhoods, recovery from our losses, our hopes and dreams as communities.

On this resurrection morning, our hearts will soar like eagles, we have faith that is the very substance of our hopes, the evidence of things yet unseen.

Soon I will announce the next town hall meeting.  I invite you, no matter where you live in the City or the County, to some - join us, celebrate with us our strength, our joy, our passion, or vision for a better and brighter tomorrow.

District 2 Town Hall Meeting

Sherri Myers

Town Hall Meeting

Tuesday, February 23rd

Cokesbury United Methodist Church
5725 N. 9th Ave

It’s Your Money – Not the Governments!
Tell the people you elected to be your representatives on City Council how you want your money spent, what your neighborhood and community needs are. Tell them if they don’t listen and take action they are out!  Tell them District 2 is tired of being short changed on LOST (Local option sales tax) spending, on community centers, parks, storm water, drainage, sidewalks, and safe routes to school.

Don't let the government pick your pocket. Come to the town hall meeting and let’s start holding the government accountable Now.
